About Me

I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland and have a Ph.D. in both psychology and education.  I have worked for over 20 years as a psychologist doing diagnostic testing and therapy with children.  I have specialized training in learning disorders, assessment, educational intervention strategies and therapy.  I have worked in a variety of settings including therapeutic intervention settings, school-based and hospital-based settings, in diagnostic evaluation settings and currently in private practice.  I also consult to private schools, collaborate with a number of educational placement consultants in the area, provide admissions testing for a number of private schools in the area and am a recommended evaluator for students at a number of local universities.  I am a member of the American Psychological Association and am a fellow in the Maryland Psychological Association.

I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in a combined doctoral program in clinical psychology and education.  I work with a broad spectrum of clients.  Among my areas of special interest are learning problems of children, nonverbal learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, social skills weaknesses in children, psychological testing of young children, and developing educational strategies based on psychological test data.
